Custom Formulation
We will create your own custom formula, specific to your constitution & herbs that will work best with you and your present pathological patterns. Depending on the organ system, herb, and what we are looking to achieve, your formula may be in tincture (alcohol-based), tea (decoction/infusion, powder (capsule) form or a combination.

Delivery Methods
A tincture can be created using many different solvents; alcohol, typically being the most-preferred and highest potency. Tinctures are convenient, quick, and easy to administer, however, they are not always the preferred delivery method. They range in dosage but are often taken 2-3x/day.

A tea (decoction) will often be a combination of herbs that will require boiling or simmering for a longer period of time (typically 15-20mins) and consumed
3-5x/day. Sometimes, teas are recommended as a cold infusion, which will be infused overnight and consumed at room temperature.
Teas are preferred for water-soluble herbs that don't do well tinctured, as well as, for covering larger surface areas.

Powder (capsule) is powdered dried herbs that will be packed into a gelatin capsule and consumed typically up to 3x per day. This can be a good option for herbs that have strong taste to encourage compliance or for someone who cannot consume alcohol.
